Traditional point of sale terminals are known to waste paper rolls daily for printing both customer copies and merchant receipt copies. In addition to waisting paper printing and signing of receipts also require unfriendly environmental resources such as inks and pens. For years old point of sale technologies have done more bad then good to the environment. It is time for a positive change. Thanks to the incredibly green platform our app is built on, the iPhone has enabled us to create newer more innovate technologies that both save valuable resources like paper and ink but ensure that the entire transaction cycle remains electronic and thus eliminate the need for any traditional ungreen materials. No magentas, Paper rolls or inks are needed to process a credit card payment. The transaction cycle begins by launching the app via a touch of your finger. Initiating a new transaction is easy and intuitive. Simply begin by entering the payment amount and credit card details using the uniquely designed interface and you are then presented with the last step which includes tip and signature if you choose to offer those options to your customers. The signature capture feature is the only one of its kind in the industry. The customer signs with his/her finger right on the iPhone screen. Then the transaction is processes and presented with the option to email the receipt complete with signature and transaction details. This workflow ensures that the entire process remains electronic and free of harmful materials. We are very proud to keep this process intact and would urge others to adopt this process by using our app for all credit card payment processing. Can there be anything more green in relation to a credit card terminal? Well it depends how you translate that question. Some would respond comically by saying "Sure I can go greener by processing more…". We do think that is very important for all business owners, honestly going greener beyond our current payment process is simply not possible. We have researched and investigated other methods however there is currently no greener process available today. |
